I'm not surprised you've achieved so much in such a short time, but you have my admiration for your hard work. The two gardens look so mature, Tel! Do you back on to countryside?

It is farmland Geranium, to the right of us we can just see the M62 motorway in the distance, at the very top there is a bypass road out of view. So you could say we have a little countryside outside the back gate. The sun is out this morning and its lovely to sit out enjoying my cup of coffee. From the back gate this is the view to the left of us, the bags of compost are mine, ready for my next little project. This is straight ahead. To the right.

You are so lucky but you deserve it after all the work you both put in. Which page did you put your before you started working on the garden shots. The ones at the beginning are of your old house that you moved from. (or am I happy to be confused). I liked reading your diary, thought it was a shame when you stopped updating it.

Page 8 is when it really started, with pics of the front and back gardens just after we had signed up for the house.

Thanks for that Tel. Such a massive difference. You must be so proud of your achievement. Yours was one of the 1st diaries that I read before I started. I liked the way that it evolved. It really is beautiful. erm. Could you post some photos of your allotment. Especially your dahlias.

The view of the garden at seating level last evening. This is my next project, on the other side of the back garden fence, I am going to make a raised bed it will be approx, 15ft in length x 3ft width. You can just see the two canes where the bed will come to, from the farmers fence. Excuse the picture been the wrong way up, it was the right way up on the computer until I loaded it up with TinyPic.

The lawn I removed from the front garden last year and stored in bags on the allotment, went into the bottom of this. Plus quite a few bags of compost. Planting time this weekend.

What's hiding from a oversized hedgehog. I hope those dogs are not about. Hey dogs, I thought you said there was hedgehog? There is no hedgehog on this menu, but you do get a free pint with your meal.
