well whent out this morning to try and repair the greenhouse wich i have managed but moved it the plants were under snow i have brought them indoors will have to see what happens the weather vhas been horrable here its took me most of the day to sort fingers crossed i dont lose my plants

how come when u buy dahlias that some timed they change colour i thought it was the garden centre mislabeling but my friend got some dahlias they should have been a purple but when they flowered they were red

If the dahlias came from tubers then i'd say they have got it wrong.

I read with interest that you use jiffi pellets - do you remove the netting once the cutting has rooted?
I found once when I bought some cuttings that came in jiffi pellets they never formed tubers as the net restricted them.
I would be interested in hearing.

i ha may be a bit short on varitys butve managed to save some of them my palhas some for me so its not to bad i might not have a lot of varitys but its all a learning curve and hopefully will learn from my mistakes the proof will be when they flower as to wether i have got things right or wrong ha ha i am goint to pot them in the garden as the tubers were quite big some of mine still havent came away i think i will give up on them now they have been in since the end of jan but they were some that came as cuttings from halls they seemed poor
