Seriously thinking about giving the allotments up at the end of the year. The OH is always complaining about the time i spend outside, since i retired, at least that will be one less thing for her to have a go at me about lately.

That's not good news Tel, what will happen to all your dahlias you've grown and everything else

I can understand that Tel.....there comes a time when you have to choose......as we get older, our time with our loved ones is more important....something you can't replace....... ....I'm finding that just now......the decision is easy........

That is the opposite to me. I like it when my husband is working on aeroplanes and away to his masonic lodge. I need time on my own.
You will probably run the allotments down gradually Tel because the time will come when you need to. The bad weather this year was disheartening.

You had better not tell us how you got the message across. They need to be told.

Thanks Tel it looks like it will only be the small ball.mini ball, pom.Brenda t as let me down for the small dec it is blowing its centres when only half way back this year and I had some really good ones last year.Mini decs are all to late. I might scrape together a stand of ryecroft jan. There might be a slight chance of the small ball class but theres not a lot of softer gleam there. But there is plenty of other classes I should have ruskin michelle, ruskin harmony, joan walker, hillcrest candy, andrea clark, leopold chloe, oakwood goldcrest, jomanda, mary's jomanda, minley carol and gurtla twilight.Kenora valentine and janal amy might flower in november.

That's not good news Tel, what will happen to all your dahlias you've grown and everything else Told the OH this morning, that i will have to go to the Wilsden Show Sunday morning. I have to take back some cups etc that i won last year. The OH said never mind you will be back showing next year. I don't know what to do now, give up or get the dahlia's back on the showbench.
