After signing in i promised to show some pics of my gardens and describe how I am dealing with growing my veg and flowers. Well, here they are: This is an overview of my biggest allotment (300M2) This is the left side, completely left the nets standing there for the sweat peas (but first a few hundred daffodils), first two rows biennial cutting flowers (Salvia, Monarda, Aquilegia, Echinacea etc), then a section with Dianthus, Delphinium, 600 tulips and Marocan mint under plastic for winter Then a section for sugarsnaps and after them beans. 2 sections off strawberries ( Elsanta and few others) and in the back 2 sections in front of the raspberries and others berries for all kinds of veggies, salads and herbs.

Well on the right side it will be dahlia territory, about 350 plants , completely to the front of the green house, except a small part for 100 Liliums. A few pics from my green house for tomatoes and some chillis. Inside for now some Rucola and Mustard leaves and radish.

Theni got a smaller allotment 20 meters from the big one which is 100m2 big, only for flowers. Dahlia seedling and tubers i cant place in other garden, Helianthus, Zinnia, Malva, Aster, more Delplinium, Cosmea, Chrysanthymem, 400 galdioli and few other annuals There is also an asperges bed on it and a Reine Victoria plum tree under which i will plant some courgette. I covered a part last year after using it to stop weeds growing. Apergus bed, Still some work to do there

Then there is always home sweet home where i also set up few things to help me grow my plants etc. Yesterday i put up a plastic green house so i can put my small plants, seedlings and cutting outside as soon as needed and beeing able to use a fan heater because on my allotments there is no power. This all because of what is standing upstairs in a not used bedroom. My Dahlia tubers coming back to life. My sweatpeas just out of the soil. My self made propagator with water filled base using an aquarium heater and pump for circulation, glas bottom on top and you got a big propagator in the size you can place. Filled now with tomato seeds.

And then there is something i am really proud on, my self made Mediterenian brick oven. For baking my own pizzas and sour dough bread in the summer after hard work in the allotments ;D Hope you all got some idea now how i am planning and preparing for coming season... Greetings Edwin

When everything is in bloom there are few more volunteers to help cutting and take flowers back home... Offcourse i will show how it will develope through the year.

I can regulate the temperature with the aquarium heater, now it is on 25c. When i can use laptop again, now on the tablet as my wife is using laptop, i will post more pictures of building the propagator in a different topic. Its a good concept with constant temperature on the bottom of the pots or trays, when needed i put light above it to grow plants a bit longer inside.

Certainly seem very industrious Edwin. Wish I still had that energy. I liked that idea of using an aquarium heater to heat the propagator, very novel. It is the sort of thing that I like to see. People getting round problems by using their brains and lots of innovation. well done.
