I use sulphur on parts of a tuber that may have rot on a piece of tuber, cutting back to a clean piece, then dusting the wound with sulphur.

So using it only on damaged parts of the tuber , never used it pre-emptive on a good tuber? No Edwin, I have never tried it, but I have not lost any in the frost free greenhouse. lost a lot of ground tubers when we had a winter when the Temperatures went down to minus 20c in the cold greenhouse the fleece they were covered with was not enough that year.
