Tel I am in no way qualified to say this but they are some of the nicest blooms I have seen. Both the trelyn kiwi and Joan walker are beauties. I also loved the way garden friends centre filled out beautifully overnight as the previous picture the right hand bloom was just a touch behind. You timed it to perfection. Absolutely stunning. Many many congratulations.

I was going to wait until you had been to Harrogate Lou. But here is the result, on how the forum did with Garden Friends. We were up against 7 vases of established Show Collarettes, they were the class that I went straight to on entering the Dahlia Hall The prize cards were not against the vases at 1pm. Looking at the 8 entry cards to find out who had won the 3 cards. I am glad to say Garden Friends is good enough to hold its own against top class dahlia's Garden Friends received a 1stuploadThe right hand bloom moved when a steward moved it to the front of the exhibits. I will check that someone put it back when I go to look at it in person

What did I tell you on Thursday Tel, "your going to do great". Well you exceeded great, you went straight to magnificent . Now having the experience of walking round with the judges, I can really appreciate how difficult it is to get a third, let alone a First. I'm well made up for you Tel. I was with Darren Everest(youtube and NDS fame), when he found out that he had got a first for his Waterlilys, that grin was going to be stuck on his face for days to come . The wonderment of the Dahlia!!!! Going to see how Candyblue gets on at Letchworth today, but when I get back, I'll try and put my video on the forum. Once again Tel, it was a great pleasure to meet you, and b****y well done mate....
