Won't be able to do the small dec championship scrumpy, but may get in the mini dec championship/,mini ball championship/,small ball mini ball pom championship/,mini ball mini dec mini cac championship/,and the lancaster which comprises 2 vases small/mini dec,2 vases small/mini cac and 2 vases of poms.I will be pleased if I make 2/3 of them classes.Damping of permiting I am looking at cutting about 2 dozen eastwood moonlight so may go for the 3 vase medium semi cactus class. We will also be going for 3 wins on the trot in the society championship after winning at harrogate last year and at wisley this year .I will be there from about 8ish tomorrow night until about 3 on friday so hope to meet anyone who is showing or just going for the day on friday but won't of had much sleep if any so excuse me if I am in a daze as cherry found out 2 years ago. I'm stewarding on Friday dc, so looking forward to meeting up, I'll bring a can of red bull if you're a bit sleepy , Going up to day to get my bearings, about a 3 and a half hour drive, never been to the Harrogate show before, so really excited about meeting up with my Garden Friends. Might be popping into the hall this evening to see if any help is needed. See you all soon

Good Luck to all our Garden Friends, (in no particular order) exhibiting, visiting, stewarding and judging (+anyone else I've forgotten) wishing you all safe journeys and may the best dahlias win without controversy or controversial decisions made.

dcdahlia it was me who was in a daze. I was annoyed because I had an enforced late night and got up very early to travel to the show from Ely. All those changes. I wish you well and will see you again hopefully.

Garden friends though a bit small now, will take later cuttings next year. image hosting 12mbSingle bloom, Small Decorative, Joan Walker image hosting over 5mbSingle bloom, Miniature Decorative, Marston Lilac print screen windowsSingle Bloom Small Cactus, Trelyn Kiwi upload images freeI wanted to enter a late entry, but the Secretary said, we have a lot of entries, so I will not be able to say yes or no to your entry until the early hours. I was not willing to stay until early tomorrow morning, A member who is on duty all night, who I know so I asked him if I give him my exhibitor number and the fee for late entry would he try later to have my exhibit entered for me, So fingers crossed he does not forget or the Secretary still say's no. Wow, just got back from Harrogate, stewarding. What a brilliant experience. Really knackered, so will post more tomorrow, and try and post my video. Just like to say, Tel it was lovely to meet you, and Garden Friends looked good. Have got so many thank you's, to lots of people, for making me feel really welcome up north. Jill says It will be weeks before the grin leaves my faces. Well done to all at Harrogate

I was going to wait until you had been to Harrogate Lou. But here is the result, on how the forum did with Garden Friends. We were up against 7 vases of established Show Collarettes, they were the class that I went straight to on entering the Dahlia Hall The prize cards were not against the vases at 1pm. Looking at the 8 entry cards to find out who had won the 3 cards. I am glad to say Garden Friends is good enough to hold its own against top class dahlia's Garden Friends received a 1stuploadThe right hand bloom moved when a steward moved it to the front of the exhibits.
