I like your honesty Tel and I know you must be disappointed, but you knew early on that it was not trialling well. Some you win, some you lose. Your turn will come. It would be funny if mine turned out to be a beauty.

Will grow a few this year and see what it does, if it comes the same it will be dropped. There is still the Red Small Dec seedling, to look forward too this season.

Not forgetting all your other latest seedlings from all of the seeds that collected last year.

I know that you are disappointed by Pudsey 2013 but for someone like me who doesn't know what the weaknesses are, what does 2012 have that 2013 didn't and vice versa. It is a bit difficult to tell from the photos because they are at different angles. nb not wishing to depress you or anything Tel but in general what are the good strong features that makes a good dec and what are obvious weaknesses to be aware of, to avoid.

Which one is your favourite? It will have to be Brenda T, Winholme Diane too but always marks up for me in Sept. Kenora Challenger LSC, Kiwi Gloria and Trelyn Kiwi S/Cactus have picked up medals at shows.

Those are 6 up. They are naturally on the small side of "smalls". None of my smalls get anywhere near the rings, except brenda t, so how big they'll get for you would depend on how big you normally get your blooms. But what they lack in size they make up for in form. So really, I'd go 5 up.

Will have to see how this seedling does this year, plenty of cuttings to come off it. Small Decorative, did not fade in the sun. Taken the first 13 cuttings this morning.
