I know Lou is in her second season, Candyblue, i do not know how long she has been showing, but i would like to wish them both all the best for their forthcoming show.

My second year and I have to say I'm more nervous this year than last.still the weather is meant to be better here this week so hopefully more flowers for the first show Saturday

Right Tel, I'm now in a complete mess with my plants. I wasn't intending to enter a second show but as I still have flowers comming I thought I'd give it a go.

I have loads of buds at all different stages, I haven't been de-budding.

Your last pic is the size of bud or less is what you want now for the 10th Sept. All stems with buds like that will need the wing buds taken off.
You could on other plants see if any wing buds are the same size or less than the last pic, if there is take off the main bud and the other wing bud then you will have buds at different stages.
Any buds showing colour now will be past it by the 10th Sept

You could fill a few vases with all those blooms you have out now, shame you have no show this weekend.
