Cheers, there's actually another row in front of that lot that made up the display, Paul Chester, Kilmorie and some Senzoe Ursula. It was my first and only attempt at a display, won £50 and a silver trophy. Didn't take the trophy home as I'd have needed £2000 insurance to cover it !! Following year it was taken off the schedule.

Well very nice agm in Kent tonight. Learned a lot and had my chat was great talk from Dave Spencer on some new varieties some lovely barberry and blyton. Blyton chiraz caught my eye. Looked a cracker one nice medium semi cactus and a couple of others. Was sad in a way as Andrew aspital is standing down as chairman. Got some of my stock. Hillcrest candy, winholm Diane and marys Jomanda. Some bits and pieces for friends as gifts. So I am pleased

@markymate good luck with jersie she looks a beauty. Mine still to arrive. Hope I can do it justice.
Will it be one of your dahlias for showing?
On a different note the annual show in Kent 2015 will the 6th of september which they announced looks likely to be the day before the national at wisley. So could be a weaker turn out which Will be sad for the society.

Moonlight bill Franklin on my society has also bought it and he is a cherwell and Oakwood man. He rates it. It is a straight cactus not a semi cactus. ian rates it so should be a good one. The proof will be next August September
