8.00pm, and totally knackered. New greenhouse put together, old greenhouse taken down, and the new one half built. Never again . Aching limbs and joints, but the beer is reviving me big time. All I've got to do tomorrow is put the roof bars on, and fit the full sheet toughened glass, must be ruddy mad

He did have a beer (or two) and has gone down the allotment at 6am this morning to have a sneaky bonfire.
I thought my greenhouse was large but ow the poly tunnel frame is up its massive compared to the greenhouse! so looking forward to getting the cover on so I can plant the tomatoes

Week off work so started planting out today, slow going as I have bought new groundcover so holes are to cut in it.Ran out of petrol for the rotavator and had some heavy showers but still managed to get 140 planted just 280 to go.

Whats the size markymate of the new greenhouse? Snute, it's 12' 5" x 8' 3". I've spent the last three days putting it up, and still have to fit all the auto openers in place . Very happy with the total package from the Greenhousepeople, really good people to do business with . Unfortunately, my dahlias have been a bit neglected, and the aubergines and peppers haven't enjoyed being out doors over the last few nights. Hopefully, should have everything tightened up some time tomorrow. I really need a rest, the full sheet toughened glass is really heavy work .

Yes Tel, I think so too. Snute, it was very hard work, but as you say, it was worth it . The extra vents really keep the temperature controlled, and being auto saves a lot of faffing around. I'm glad I took the plunge, even though it cost a lot, I couldn't be happier. Happy growing days ahead

Will have to get down to the allotment in the morning, I have a dozen dahlia plants that have been in the car boot since last night, for a lady plot holder, that uses dahlia's in flower arranging.
