Had his catalogue today. New names are Clearview Sundance and Daniel, Marston Sharon and Barbarry Surpride. I have Clearview Sundance, tried it as a large, it has no chance against Challenger. Has a medium cannot see it beating Eastwood Moonlight, or your sports scrumpy.

scrumpy Tel daniel looks nice colour prefer the look of debby but can't find that in uk . Andrew a is trying it but not heard the verdict on it yet. Sundance I am trying but looking at it only for garden display and trying it for late members on second flush if at all possible. May try as medium. Heard barberry surprise is great. How much do Taylor's charge ?

Barbarry Surprise it is not a new variety but it is excellent great form and colour (mini dec). Marston Sharon looks a little like Jomanda again mini dec. Clearview Daniel not a very good Dahlia it is a little loose it's it a yellow miniature Ball. Not that impressed with Sundance.
Frank has cut back quite a bit now as he has moved home and only grows 102 plants also his greenhouse space is smaller but still very much selling plants.

I will have to stop collecting all this dahlia seed, at this rate, there will not be room for anything else on the allotment. Show off! Won't have anything like as many as you but I've got loads - well I think so anyway.

How much do Taylor's charge ? Dad has grown both. But good Luck if you manage to get hold of it, your experiences may be different to ours. Dad thinks he gave his away as they were not good enough for potential seed parents or in shows. We have enjoyed getting the us dahlias but it is a gamble and it is very expensive.

Hi Moonlight not doing either Clearview love the colour it is by far my fav colour in dahlias. Lilac and lavender I adore. Will probably do lavender line and staleen condessa mixed with a lilac bicolour called Hapet ideal. I like an old kenora called majestic also. Sundance getting the tubor via my society chairman thought I may as well use it in garden display mixed with kenora sunset. Hopefully a riot of colour !

Sounds like a plan Recommend that you plant your Staleen Condessa at the back, rather than front - mine were really tall.

Moonlight yours where triffids from what you said as was my ferncliff illussion went to 7 feet then collapsed in a heap ! Lol still have one of them going as it has 6 big buds opening everything else cut back. I am looking at an unusual one called dagla 80 . What you think ? Might look good in display with the lilacs and peach delight then maybe on to pinks and Orange.
