No response to mine, though. I think Tel's ignoring me cos I had three Dahlias that didn't come to anything.

To change the subject, I grew some 'City of Rotterdam' this year. Three have done what they should, this is the fourth one. Not much like 'City' is it? I don't suppose you know what it might be, do you? By the way, Tel, the three Dahlias that didn't sprout - I tipped them out, and although the tubers were sound, they'd rotted away from the stems. Sorry geranium. looks like i will have to stand in that corner again. I do not know the name of that one, but to be honest i do not care for it. Your 3 dahlia tubers, these things do happen, it happened to two of mine. I said i would give them a bit longer, because they were firm tubers not realising they had rotted in the stem until i broke them off.

No, Les - I was following instructions from 'the Master' and had them in pots in the propagator. I turned that off a while back. Thanks, Tel. I don't like it much either, but it has filled a gap. It was a shame that one of the non-starters was 'Karma Choc' which I wanted in flower on my open days. You can come out of the corner now! ;D Oh, and by the way, the 'David Howard' I left in the ground from last year is a large plant now - with buds. Ain't nature a funny thing!

Thank you - I'll check it out. Lou's 'Hootenanny' has flowered. I'm so pleased with it - it's even prettier in my garden than it was as a mere photo! ;D

Thank you - I'll check it out. Lou's 'Hootenanny' has flowered. I'm so pleased with it - it's even prettier in my garden than it was as a mere photo! ;D Mine propagated like crazy this year so I have a bed of about 50 planted, hoping it will be a popular cut flower
