And this is how it's progressing. I will have 3 ready on Saturday, so i'll arrange them in a vase and take them to Sion at the station house stand at Shrewsbury show and see what he thinks of them. They aren't that big, but they came from rather spindly cuttings. Form is good though.

Unfortunately Sion wasn't at the show. Never known Station House not be there, maybe the recession has a lot to answer for. This is what i had for him This is a pretty close photo of the actual colour. There is the faintish yellow flush around the centre, which i think adds to it. Shape wise, very uniform. Side view below shows the good depth Just praying now i get a good tuber for next years cuttings.

Got 2 cuttings rooted, another 2 in the propagator, and maybe 4 more to take in a week or so's time. I had one not very good tuber to get cuttings from and was panicking, but eventually they came. Taking it's time to build up some stock, at this rate i'll have 10 plants in about 10 years Sion wasn't at Shrewsbury last year, family problems i believe, but he is planning to be there this year so i'll aim for a few blooms for him to see. Will still aim for some for the nationals, but may have to wait another year.

This is a sport on Peach Delight. What do people think about it?
Is it worth my while developing it?

Theres also a laurens moolight and a coxwells moonlight scrumpy. There has been a bit of a problem showing the sports of moonlight especially in venues with poor lighting.A friend of mine was knocked back at harrogate showing eastwood and coxwells, the judge said they were not distinct and could not see the difference between the two and that was in good light.

laurens, pims and coxwell are the same apparently.
Never grown eastwood alongside pims, all I know is there is a big difference between the sport and it's parent. Next year will be the 3rd year if it stays true. The biggest problem will be how different it is to cream moonlight I think.

Richard,
Your Peach Delight sport is gorgeous. I hope it propagates well and proves stable.

Here we go again. This little one has appeared amongst my Oakwood goldcrest. Now I know there is Cherwell Goldcrest but i've never seen it myself,so has this one bloom reverted back, or is this a new colour.

It may be trying to revert back, it is hard to tell really the colour in the pic looks like Cherwell Goldcrest. But as you know changes in colour like the Moonlights can be slight. Scrumpy, do you know anyone that grows Cherwell Goldcrest to compare the bloom.
